Dear Leland High School Families,

We warmly welcome our freshmen, the class of 2029, and all the new families who have joined our Leland High School community.

For those unfamiliar with the Leland Parents Club, we are a volunteer-based parent group responsible for organizing and financially supporting various educational, social, and cultural events at LHS. Our mission is to foster a positive and collaborative school community through financial support, parent participation, and leadership. In the upcoming school year, we anticipate the Parents Club playing an even more crucial role in supporting the administration, faculty, parents and students.

Your contributions are the sole source of the Parent Club's budget, and we kindly request you to support our students by donating today! Funds raised will continue to support activities that make LHS unique, as well as various programs such as:

- Wishlists to enable teachers to implement innovative ideas in the classroom.

- Funding for grade-level activities, technology and senior events.

- Teacher training 

- Parent Education and recognizing students

- Staff appreciation luncheons.

We encourage you to attend our monthly Parents Club meetings to stay informed about LHS activities and hear from our dedicated parents and administrators. These meetings provide an opportunity to learn about school-wide initiatives and district updates, meet the principal, and connect with other parents. We personally invite you to attend and get involved. Most monthly meetings will be held on Tuesday evenings. Additionally, we plan to organize more social events before the meetings to further build community.
